Your little pup is still developing their immune system, so it's important to continue their regular worming routine.

Remember - a puppy needs to be wormed at the following times as they grow:

  • At 8 weeks, 10 weeks, and 12 weeks of age;
  • At 4 months, 5 months, and 6 months of age.

You can check with your breeder when your puppy was last wormed, and pick up your Drontal® worming routine from there!

What Drontal® packs should I redeem?

Your Drontal® free pack code will allow you to claim a free Drontal Allwormer® Small Dog Tablet 4-pack or Medium Dog Chewable 2-pack. We would recommend claiming the sample closest to your dog's size, and noting the dosing instructions by weight on pack.

How do I know when to start worming?

Ask your breeder the date your puppy was last wormed - this will tell you where they are at in their worming journey. Remember - young pups need to be wormed at 8 weeks old, 10 weeks old, 12 weeks old, and then at 4 months, 5 months, and 6 months of age. After that, you can move to a three-monthly schedule.

How do I keep track of worming dates?

We recommend putting calendar reminders in your phone, to ensure you don't miss a dose. Young puppies are still developing their immune systems, so following the regular dosing schedule is crucial.
